Man exposes himself to teenage girls in Telford

A man exposed himself to two teenage girls in Telford.

Police are appealing for witnesses after the indecent exposure, which happened at around 3.25pm on Thursday, July 23, in Dalford Court. Hollinswood.

A West Mercia Police spokesman said: "Two girls, aged 15 and 16, were sitting on a footpath when a man walked past them and smiled. When he was 20 feet away, he turned around and indecently exposed himself and performed a lewd act.

"The man then made off towards the International Centre continuing onto the Town Park and Stirchley area."

Police believe there are potential witnesses to the incident. One is thought is to be a Polish man who was walking past at the time. Any local residents who witnessed the incident are also asked to come forward."

The offender is described as black, of a stocky build, bald, in his late 30s or early 40s, wearing either a dark suit or a light blue coat, black shoes and was carrying a yellow bag.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 quoting incident 407S of Thursday July 23. Alternatively, the independent charity, Crimestoppers, can be contacted.
